The Egyptian School affiliated with the Egyptian Cultural Office in London was established in 1976 AD That is, almost half a century.
The school was distinguished in the beginning by being the first and only source (at that time) for linking the people of the country – and even other Arab communities (located in the British capital, London) – with their Egyptian and Arab customs, cultures, and identity. Over the course of those decades, the school was filled with the participation of large numbers of students of the Egyptian curriculum. The school was unique throughout that period, as it was the only school in Britain that had the lead in teaching the Arabic language in general, and the entire Egyptian curriculum (Our Children Abroad) in particular.
The school administration has introduced a levels system in order to facilitate obtaining the highest grades in English schools. This is through teaching GCSE curriculum, for (mathematics, science, and Arabic language) for those who wish to do so.
What is more important than this for Egyptians and Arabs residing in Britain is to teach religious education, both Islamic and Christian, in order to connect our children to their religion with the participation of students who belong to similar customs and cultures.
